This page explains GuideThread's bounded analytics behavior. It is not comprehensive legal advice and does not claim that no data of any kind can ever be processed.

Analytics tools

Google Analytics 4 measures traffic, page views, and bounded interactions. Microsoft Clarity supports usability analysis such as heatmaps and session behavior where available.

GuideThread does not use these tools for advertising, remarketing, personalized ads, or Google Signals.

Regional analytics behavior

In the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics storage defaults to denied and available measurement may be cookieless or limited. Outside those regions, analytics storage may operate by default unless the visitor opts out. Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization remain denied everywhere.

Bounded interaction data

Custom events intentionally exclude search text, email addresses, names, free-form content, resource and outbound URLs, filter values, and full query strings. Page-view locations contain only the site origin and pathname.

Opting out

Visitors can opt out at any time from the footer. GuideThread stores that choice locally, stops its custom events, clears accessible analytics cookies, and does not load GA4 or Clarity on subsequent page loads. Resuming analytics returns the visitor to the normal regional defaults and does not automatically grant analytics storage in restricted regions.
